Do you still remember these references?
Yeah, that’s “Pagol”! A song was written by Faisal Rabbikin was sang by Imran
Mahmudul. The videoclip of this song directing by Dinar Hassan appeared on
October 2015. Different with the other Imran’s videoclips, this videoclip just
appeared Imran as the model. No one else more. The background is also so
simple. In a studio. That moment, it looked that Imran was playing a keyboard.
Then, sang a song well with seeing directly to the camera while smiling. I
liked the video so much. Because, although, it’s so simple. But, Imran could
show that he was interacting with his fans through that video. It’s really cool
thing. I’m sure that a lot of Imran’s fans, especially female fans would think
the same with me.
Months after that, a rising bangladeshi
singer likes so much to cover a lot of songs appeared with his single,
“Nilanjona”.

Yeah, “Arif Mahmud” or usually known as
“Arif” struggled hard to release a promotional video of Nilanjona on February 9th 2016. He should
take a long journey from Dhaka to Kushtia to record this video on February 4th 2016. In that
promotional video, he introduced himself first. Then, it was continued with the
introduction by Ashik Rajiv as the music director. After that, Arif sang and the
music director did his task. The quality of the screen shoot in this video is
awesome. I could see everything is so clear. In this video, Arif’s voice heard
so natural. Natural perfect with awesome rythme and melody without doing a hard
filtering of voice. That time I was sure that what I guessed when I have
listening to all of his covered songs was true. “Arif is a pure good singer. He
could sing well without hard filtering.” It’s the best clue to know if he would
be so perfect in the live concert, isn’t it? The part of Arif’s and Ashik’s
introductions perfected this video.
Unfortunately, this video looked without a
hard editing. I could see a lot of handphones, the shadows and hands of some
persons appeared in that video to record. And it rather disturbed. If wanna
show those handphones, I think, it’s better if we take one or two shoots explaining
who they are behind the shoot. I meant, to show their faces and bodies. Whether
they are Arif’s mad fans or another else persons. So, it wouldn’t appear like a
video without editing. So far, I love that promotional video. Moreover, Arif
could sing perfectly in a certain room. It’s not so easy to do.
Then, on Valentine Day 2016, the official video
of Nilanjona was released. This video looked better than before. Showing the
computer first time. To inform about how the music and tune were edited. The
music director certainly appeared again in this video. Although, the shoots were
just done from the back and right side. But, I think, it’s perfect, because
looked so natural. The quality of sounds is also so good. Better than
Nilanjona’s promotional video. Certainly, because it has been prepared very
well. So, Arif’s voice there is clearer and more awesome to listen.
Unfortunately, the quality of video is not too
awesome. Looked rather dark. But, don’t worry, be happy! If you are so mad
about Arif, Arif would spoil you in this video by his perfect smiles and
expressions. Perfect!!! Arif knew well how to make the greatest fans,
especially female fans would become so mad more and more. The beginning of his expression
when sang was started by his smile. In the middle, when he should take a breath
to hear the music was played, he smiled again. In that time he smiled longer
than in the beginner. Very long to touch his fans’ heart, I think. Because, I
myself was touched. Oh, God, I was falling in love, even before he sang any
lyrics!
Then, after he sang, you could know how
awesome it was. Arif could make the perfect expressions. Seeing to a camera,
smiling, singing with moving his hands, smiling, singing with moving his hands.
No movements more in this video besides showing that Arif sang while standing
up near a filtering with a headphone, sitting on the seat of music director,
standing up again, sitting again.
The room was used to shoot is still the same
room with Nilanjona promotional video’s. And as I said above, not easy to make the good
expressions without any else model and in the certain room. But, Arif did it so
well. So great. I appreciated his effort in this video so much.
Although, I would prefer if Arif would talk
anything like in the promotional video. To make his fans touched more and more.
If I like so much “Pagol” video, then I really
love so much this video. Too much. However, thanks to all of persons behind the
production of this video to make it so good, so far. Indrajit as lyricist,
Fahim Mahmud as video shooter, Ashik Rajiv as music director.
And also to Arif as everything. Singer, model,
tuner, video editor. “Vaia is really so perfect.”
I don’t know in Bangladesh, but in my country
and a lot of other countries, a multitalent person like Arif would be so
popular and reach the toppest career someday. And I would be the first person
is waiting for it would happen.
My wish if Arif would be given a chance to
sing another song again, please give him a chance to sing a lot of sad songs!
Because, he is so perfect in sad song, like he covered “Pori” on the beginning
of March. I was touched and crying every time I listen to this covered song
again and again. More and more. Making me so addicted. It’s the first thing I
miss when I wake up from sleeping.
And if he would be given a chance to release
a videoclip again, I recommend a videoclip where the singer appears there while
singing in a studio and becoming a model in the story of videoclip. Like “Tumi
Chara” video. In that Tumi Chara, Milon became a model in the story of
videoclip and a singer in the studio. This kind of videoclip is so complete, I
think. I would like it so much.
Would be perfect if someday the videoclip
would tell about Arif as a singer meeting each other with his greatest fan.
Like what “Hridoyer Gohine” videoclip did. In Hridoyer Gohine, Nila as a model
of Imran’s fan was meeting each other with Imran as the model of a great
artist. Then, Nila was so lucky to make a date with her idol, Imran, in that
video. I’m sure that Arif’s mad fans would become so happy and wanna see any
video like this more and more while imagining happily.
I myself recommend Tanjin Tisha as his
partner. She always looks so good in any happy videos. U know, Tanjin Tisha is
so elegant model. Could place herself in the highest level. It’s not easy to
find a model like her.
Or should it be with me to make the video so
natural without too much editing in expressions? ^_^ However, I took a class of
acting during years. ^_^ With completing my worship and admiration to Arif,
don’t you think if it would be so perfect? ^_^
Finally, I just would say…. “Good luck, Arif
vaia! I’m your mad fan, although from abroad. <3 :* Oh, God, I really wish
to listen to vaia would cover that Hridoyer Gohine, although it was just an old
song! The reason is simpe. Could make me happy to imagine that videoclip more
and more and we both as the model of imagination. Maybe vaia’s another female
fans would wish the same with me. ^_^ Second, to make one of my poems would
become a lyrics of vaia’s song someday. Because, two of poems in my next book
would publish about April would be dedicated for vaia and ‘Nilanjona’. And… is it
too much if I wish a date like in the Hridoyer Gohine, although just a single
day?” ^_^
